Sounds of Change in Canada

Sounds of Change in Toronto, Canada

Sounds of Change trainees Nour Kaddan and Tareq Ghreri started a music program for (refugee) children (6 - 12 yrs) in Toronto, Canada.

The program allows children to connect with their communities, embrace their differences, stimulate compassionate communication and cooperation. The music also boosts the creative mind, brings relief and ofcourse fun... so important for displaced children, to experience fun together with their new communities.

Nour and Tareq participated in the 4 Sounds of Change training levels in Lebanon, in 2016. They are both experienced and dedicated to bring music to children and the people who work with them. Therefore they also facilitate workshops for teachers and facilitators, about using music as a tool to bring communities together, support empathic connection and improve communication.
